DAN DAVID
Dan David is an accomplished business executive and entrepreneur with leadership experience in the financial and retail sectors who has spent years working to protect the retirement and other savings of American investors.
In 2006 Dan co-founded GeoInvesting, an equities markets research firm regarded as a leader in the U.S. micro-cap and China sectors. He has made multiple appearances on CNBC and Bloomberg TV and been quoted extensively in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times and Philadelphia Inquirer.
Dan has been the driving force behind an effort to change federal law regarding the listing of China-based firms on U.S. stock exchanges. Through his work Dan and others have determined that U.S. investors have been defrauded of more than $50 billion by Chinese companies. Dan has lobbied dozens of members of Congress and the Senate to fix this issue in order to safeguard our retirement and other savings. Incredibly, defrauding foreign investors is not illegal in China. His efforts are featured as the lead protagonist in the documentary “The China Hustle” which is currently showing in theaters and available on Amazon Prime.

Before co-founding Geo-Investing, Dan was a senior executive in the retail industry for Finlay Enterprises. He served as general manager of the Midwest Famous Barr division of Macy’s. He had responsibility for operations, merchandise buying and HR for 43 stores with 400 total employees. He was also the director of stores for Lord & Taylor, where he managed 77 stores with 700+ employees across 19 states.
A native of Flint, MI, Dan has lived in eastern Pennsylvania for more than 20 years and resides in Montgomery County.
He attended Northern Michigan University and the executive education program at the Wharton School at the Univ. of Pennsylvania. He and his wife Janine have been married for more than 18 years.
